Silly Laffs

Meadow Crooke doesn't necessarily have a direct summary. It's basically my perception of the way certain situations should go. I have always thought like this, so this comic expresses it. It doesn't have a continuous storyline and every episode lasts nearly thirty pages. It is considered funny, but more subtle.

I decided not to have an update schedule. Reaching deadlines stresses me out. I'll try to update at least twice a week.

Taking into Consideration

Anyone who has read my last news post may have sensed how sad I was that this comic is dead. Well I have a newer post: I'm thinking about coming back to the webcomic world. I still have my Pokemon art site and forum, but I was thinking about creating a webcomic to go along with my site. Y'know like how some sites have other things to look at besides their main content? I was thinking about making another comic.

The only problem I face is whether or not to make it into a Pokemon comic. If it were a Pokemon comic, then people may be more willing to read it. I would also be able to link to it on my site which is always a good thing. The thing is that since I am older (I turned 18 yesterday :D), I don't know if going the Pokemon route is a good idea. You see back in January, I launched my Personal Portfolio Site which contains artwork of my own characters and whatnot. I was told that it would be a good idea so that I could "get my foot in the door" in terms of my art career. I was thinking what better way to show my skills by creating another comic?

From the experience I've had with this comic, I've realized that people will only read stuff if they can relate it to something else. Such as Pokemon fancomics or comics that are based off of already established series. This may become a problem for me if I create a non-Pokemon comic. The other thing is that I love Pokemon. I haven't updated my site this month, but I love my site. I was also incredibly sick last month, so I couldn't draw as much as I had wanted too. Pokemon is a passion I have that may never die.

The thought occurred to me to make a Pokemon comic and a non-Pokemon comic. Given the fact that I will be going to college in the fall, I'm not sure if I'll be able to maintain both series. My art has dramatically improved from what is seen here. This will be my first year of college, so I really don't want to screw it up. I'm not even sure if I can maintain one comic series because of the experiences I may have in college. Just know that I am thinking about launching a new series.
